Wow.  I almost couldn't even figure out how to make a new update b/c Xanga's changed everything around so much since I last used it.

I'm back in Sapulpa, and it was a good decision to come back.  Some financial stuff came up and basically, at the end of the summer I was going to have money for the first month's rent and that was it.  No food money.  No gas money to get down there.  So I needed to come back and try to work some during the last month.  And really, I think I got what I went to Waco for.  It didn't seem like we had really been learning anything new for a while.  I think the last half of the summer was more just so that we'd have more experience.  As far as learning about poverty and how urban ministry is done, I think that was all covered in the first few weeks.  I'm really glad I went.  I learned a lot, but now it's been learned and I can come back and apply it.  And make money to buy food with.  So, it's good.

I'm going to stop being vegetarian for this semester.  Thames went back to Arkansas; Shelley went back to Tennessee; and Stefan won't have a meal plan anymore, so as far as I know I would be the only vegetarian eating in the cafeteria.  I don't want to have to make Mr. and Mrs. Cafeteria prepare special stuff just for me.  Also, eating as a vegetarian at Hillsdale isn't very healthy.  not very healthy at all.  The main course in many of my meals was some sort of fried cheese.  It'll be different when I'm on my own and can purchase and prepare my own food, but for now, I just think it's better this way.

Stefan and I watched What Would Jesus Buy today at the Circle Theater in Tulsa.  That's a really cool theater and a really good movie.

I'm trying to figure out what to do this summer.  I'm thinking about interning at Mission Waco, but I really don't want to go alone, so if that sounds cool to anyone, the person to which it sounds cool should look into it.

I like caramel apples, ghosts, and babies dressed as pumpkins.

And the song, How Far We've Come, by Matchbox 20.

My life is ridiculous.

I mean, it's good, and I'm fine.  It's just, I don't know where my life thinks up some of the stuff it throws at me.
